The Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers is proud to sponsor the nation's first statewide book club, dedicated to promoting literacy and goodwill through a reading initiative that reaches out to everyone. The book club will focus on five books each year that are read and studied during two-month periods of reading and cultural networking. January of each year will be set aside to announce our reading theme for the year ahead. December of each year will be reserved for reader reflections on what we have learned from our year of reading. Readers will be able to keep up-to-date on book club choices and author appearances by regularly visiting this site.
