2007-2008 Hall of Fame Inductee:
N. Scott Momaday

The Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame was established to honor Oklahoma writers who have made major contributions to American literature while living and writing in Oklahoma. Writers are nominated by the general public and selected by a jury of writers who have already been inducted. The official induction ceremony is held every spring.
The Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers is the permanent sponsor of the Hall of Fame. Founder Joye Swain serves as director emeritus.
